A job cannot be started that is depending upon a predecessor job being completed. This creates strategic thinking.

We would love to be able to arrange chores in any order of our choosing. My kids like to do the chores in order of the list from to to bottom. I've tried to add chores in the order I want but the chores will arrange itself in a different order. For example, "make your bed" might end up at the bottom of the list but I like my kids to make their bed before starting their day.

Assign a dollar amount to each chore, which is transferred automatically to child's account when the chore is marked as completed.

Allow jobs to be created that are available to all kids rather than being assigned to one kid. This promotes proactively and motivation. Whoever completes the job and checks it off gets the $$.

We use a smart calendar ( https://dakboard.com ) and it would be great if the chores showed up there for the kids to see. Can Green Light work with an API, google tasks, google calendar, IFFT, or other so that the info is pulled over for added us?

I(parent) would like to get notified when child checks off chore. I like to verify that they actually have done the chore.

It used to be that I could add my kids chores in for the whole week, but now I can only add them in each day, for that day, if they are not recurring jobs. We do our kids' chores on a rotation of rooms that they are responsible for each week, so having to put in each child's chores every day is very tedious. This is truly enough to make me stop using the app and find one that is more user-friendly.

It's frustrating typing motivational messages for each job three times. I give my children challenges to earn extra money. My girls love gymnastics, so I do $1.00 if you can hold a "Handstand for 45 secs". "Create a cheer routine that lasts 2 minutes" for $1.00. "Read for an extra 30 mins to earn $1.00". About five new challenges a week. They love it. It would be so much easier to create one task and check off what child I want to assign it to. Please stop making me type so much. Thanks.

I would like to see the job features and chore features combined. I want to set chores to repeat on certain days and be able to attach a money amount to it. This is how my kids earn their allowance.
