My daughter wanted to contribute to my son’s Christmas gift, but did not have enough money. She promised to pay us back by February. This is a great opportunity to teach her about a loan and simple interest expense. Would love the ability for my children to request a loan and negotiate terms, such as a simple repayment schedule and accrued interest. Thanks! Brandon Arndt

Please don't take my child's money if my monthly fee bounces from the bank. Sometimes I mess up and that's not my child's fault. For her to lose all of her spending money and her saving because of it is unfair to her and makes me want to to look for another service.

Developers: PLEASE make a way for US Bank customers to upgrade our Greenlight subscription and only pay the difference from what US Bank covers. I would love to take advantage of the 5% savings, the location services, the driving detection, and many of your other features, which I'm glad to pay for. But I would like to be able to utilize the US Bank customer deal as well where they cover the cost for the basic plan.

It would be nice to link accounts to aggregator tools like Personal Capital and Quicken.

My kids occasionally want big things and so I’ve gotten into the habit of saying you could pay $5 a week for x amount of weeks if it means that much to you. I wish there was a way to have this automatically taken when I set it for the duration I set it. Thanks!

I think Greenlight should allow parents/guardians to establish a financial reward for children achieving good grades in school. It would be similar to jobs, but the dollar amount will vary based on the grade achieved in a specified class over a specified period of time. For example, my son struggles in Science, so I can incentivize him to do better by establishing financial rewards for his effort. I would transfer money to his card at the end of each Quarter based on the grade achieved. If he fails the class for the Quarter, he would lose $5. A = $25 B = $15 C = $5 D = $0 F = -$5 The name of the class, the dollar amount assigned to each grade, and the term (quarter, semester, year) should be options for the parent/guardian to establish.

Greenlight has been great for our daughter, but she's now 18 and wants to transition to her own bank account. So we have to access her $3,000 savings from her part time job. The most efficient way to do this is to close our account. But I think Greenlight is missing an opportunity here to partner with banks. Offering a seamless transition to an independent bank account would be helpful to customers like us, and potentially beneficial to Greenlight. Perhaps the numbers don't warrant the effort required to set up partnerships?

I would like for the parent/guardian to be able to create an IOU for the child when they lend money to their child account but it needs to be paid back. Even better if when the child gets paid in their account it automatically transfers the IOU amount back to the parent balance.
