streamline job addition and payment

I’d love the ability to add a job from the parent landing page and assign to a specific child or add to a general pool of available jobs that are up for grabs. This is rather than having to go into each child profile and add a job that way. Would also like to be able to “pay out” jobs from parent landing page rather than having to access each child’s profile. Thanks for considering and thanks for this great tool for families!

Make it possible for any child to do a Job
Ritaly Rapaport
Currently Jobs must be individually assigned per child. But often I don't care who does the job and just want it done. Happy for the kids to compete on who does it first to collect the payout.
Even better would be the option for them to do the job together and split the reward.

Thanks for your suggestion, Ritaly!

I see this is “under review”. It appears to be the most requested feature on here and dates back to 2023. Hopefully this is implemented soon.

Create one job and allow all children to opt into it

Currently the jobs are a one to one relationship, in other words you have to create a job for each child. It would be nice to create one job and allow all children to have a chance to work it. You could just have one job and allow it to be assigned to all children, then when it’s been completed by one of them the job is inactive in the other children’s profile.
Many parents have a list of jobs that need done around the house and they want to teach their kids that there’s always something to do. This would work like a mini job board for the family, allowing any of the children to complete the job.

YES! Jobs available to all kids instead of individually assigned.
