Computer/Website Account Access

What is the point of this avenue to provide feedback? This feels like a black hole as there is no update provided here on the feedback to have a web capable application. I know transparency is not easy, but it is important to retain trust in Greenlight. Please provide updates on this request. Is it being considered at all? Will this item be worked on prior to Q2 2026? No updates no trust.

App is buggy

Cathy Pescevich Kreplin
The mobile app freezes easily; needs uninstall/reinstall frequently. My daughter and I both experience this. We live in different communities, use different providers, browsers, phones, etc. Would like a more stable solution, preferably a dedktop app. For now, if you have known optimal choices - for example a best browser - please state them. Thank you!

It's kind of crazy to me that Greenlight doesn't have this feature already. It just doesn't make sense to have an app-only product. Every banking or finance app I've ever used had a web-based feature. This is, by far, the biggest drawback of greenlight and the thing that prevents me from recommending it to other parents.

Web Browser Application
M

My child does not have an iPad or iPhone. As a parent, I do not intend to get my child multiple devices over thousand dollars in value. He use to have an iPad, but traded that in to get a MacBook Air. Unfortunately he lost access to his Greenlight application by making this trade. We have very set ideas on giving pre-teens or teenagers mobile devices.
Any help is appreciated.
When will you offer the ability to access and manage a kids account from a browser?

This should have already been an option. Website would be critical as a parent and for my child. We will not be getting an adolescent multiple devices that cost thousands of dollars. The laptop serve multiple purposes, but can't serve Greenlight access. Yet you have a corporate website.

Desktop Version for easy chore adding
Jennifer Smith
I would love a desktop version so that it is easier to type up chores and descriptions for my kids. It would also be a good way for kids to learn how to navigate a banking website which they will need in adulthood.

A debit card for children should not be solely app based
H
Hannah Miller
There is a TON of research showing the benefits of children and adolescents not having phones and yet Greenlight, geared at learning, growing and developing youth, is solely app based. This makes it an inaccessible vehicle for learning about financial wellbeing and tracking financial decisions and progress for Greenlight users w/o phones. It also makes is hard for parents to share Greenlight information with their young users as there is no web platform.

Thank you for sharing this with us, Hannah. We’re always working to improve the Greenlight experience and will be sure to share your feedback with the team.

It's really hard as a parent to support a company that does not support parents' digital goals by allowing access without a phone. Create a website, windows app, SOMETHING.
Parents want LESS reasons to give kids screens not MORE.
