I am a grandparent added to my grandkids account. When I added my bank as a payment method, it became the primary. Seems like that’s a bug. Suppose there are multiple grandparents, or parents are divorced and have separate logins. Every time you add another account, it becomes primary?

If I attempt to transfer funds to a child account, but my wallet is short less than the minimum "add funds" amount ($20), I have to cancel the entire transaction and manually add funds before continuing. This is a really unpleasant roadblock that happens frequently. Example scenario: My parent wallet has $35. I want to transfer $45 to my child. I setup the transfer and add a note and then I get a message that says my wallet is short $10. So I choose a source to transfer from, and click the "Transfer $10" button, thinking it'll do it for me. Then I get an error message that says I have to load a minimum of $20 with no other action but completely cancel. Then I have to exit the transfer flow, go manually add $20, then come back into the transfer flow. Big hassle. What I would have expected to see in the error dialog is a second button that says "Add funds and transfer" so I can just add whatever the minimum is and finish my transfer quickly. This is such a painful experience that I took the extra step of mocking up the dialog I would LOVE to see implemented. : ) Thanks team!

It would be nice if either allowance funds could be expanded to include allocation to spending categories, or if there was the ability to auto fund a specific amount to a specific spending category. For example, my daughter receives a weekly allowance into her spend anywhere fund. She also receives a monthly set amount for gas money into the gas spend category. I love the spend category with this as once she has used up her gas money from me she has to use her own money and I don’t need to track how much I’ve given her for the month. Being able to auto fund the gas spending category would be an added bonus.

Currently, recurring transfers (allowances) in Greenlight can only be directed to Spend Anywhere, General Savings or Giving. However, sub-categories under Spend Anywhere (like Grocery, Gas or Restaurants) are not available as direct funding targets. This means I can’t automatically send money (e.g., $250/month) directly into my child’s Grocery category. I have to first send it to Spend Anywhere and then manually move it each month; how tedious. Could you please confirm if there are plans to allow recurring transfers directly into Spend sub-categories like Grocery? This would make managing category-specific allowances much easier.

The daily/weekly limits for ATMs need to be adjustable. Greenlight is a money trap right now and caters to toddlers. We have teens, and they can't withdraw to buy a car. Furthermore, I can add a bank account via instant verification and can fund GL immediately however I can't transfer out for 30 days? That is absurd. I have been a strong advocate for greenlight since early on however now that we have thousands TRAPPED in the account we are leaving/closing. Customer service stated ATM withdrawal limit cannot be adjusted so its going to be a thin Thanksgiving for us since our funds are trapped in greenlight. Solutions: • Wave the 30day new account requirement • Increase or allow adjustment of ATM withdrawal limits • Allow deposit to debit card • Strike a deal with brick/mortar location to allow on-site funds deposit/withdrawal A note to others: if your child is employed, Greenlight in its current form is not a good fit.

Add a button on all purchase detail pages for kids to request a refund in one click

I have funded my account several times using my debit card and you don't offer me the ability to withdraw funds to my bank account as a result. I have to call in to have you process the withdrawal. I don't want to continue to call everytime I am withdrawaing funds. In the future, I will fund teh account from my bank account but I don't know how much that helps. Thanks.

Please add detailed information to FAQ on how funding accounts are verified and how long that process takes. I added a bank account as a funding source to be able to transfer money out of Greenlight because you cannot use a debit card to transfer out. No where was it noted that it would take 30 days to verify and be able to transfer money out. I could transfer money into Greenlight the same day with that bank account but now have to wait 30 days to get my money out.

Allowing international family sending monetary gifts to my children's greenlight accounts would be awesome. Specifically Canada. Still have exchange rate so the kids learn about different currency and exchange rates but all out family is in Canada and for them to send gifts as money is not easy

A nice feature to add is the ability for users to nickname funding accounts. I want to add another account with the same financial institution and the last four digits of the 2 accounts are the same. I have no way to differentiate the accounts.
