Our perpetual toddler in a man’s body recieves SSI and they require direct deposit. We’ve been happy with Greenlight and they have direct deposit so we used that. NOPE, after a trip to Social Security to set it up, Greenlight declined it. I don’t supposed you will ever change this policy but your text support won’t leave it be so here I am: social security direct deposit would be wonderful. He can’t have more than 2k in his account so it wouldn’t be use for large amounts but it would be used more frequently. As it sits now, we are looking at other options for accounts that accept direct deposits from federal agencies.

Someone built logic that rejects deposits to a member that are not in the exact first last name order. Normal data logic would say that last name, first name should match exactly to first name then last name. Any other bank does not reject direct deposits on such a limiting logic. ALL IRS DEPOSITS WILL FAIL! AS A RESULT THE IRS UTILIZES LASTNAME, FIRST NAME!

05-26-2024 - The parent would like for Greenlight to proactively notify accounts if there is an issue with a child's direct deposit.
