Recurring Jobs
David Telfer
Allow for jobs to be recurring and not just one time. Have the option for them to be set up so that they can be recurring at different intervals ie daily, weekly, monthly. How it currently is setup I have to constantly add jobs back to the list after they complete it so it is a recurring job for myself to deal with.

Recurring jobs. Having to retype jobs every time one is completed is a constant and unnecessary hassle. Amending the code to simply reactivate a paid job without it disappearing does not take a year+ to accomplish. Since this small tweak has been so long in coming and is the number 2 most requested feature, I feel like the company responses are only lip service.
Please fix the recurring jobs issue soon. I like the app, but I'm looking into competitors due to non-responsiveness on this feature.

Allow for Recurring Jobs
Kari Haravitch
Hi there. I would like that the jobs didn’t disappear when the are completed because several of our jobs are repeatable. The jobs are not chores as we don’t require them to be complete, but are recurring options for work to be done and more money. For example, mowing the law is a job for us, not a chore. As the parent, I wish the job didn’t go away completely when a child completed. The real problem is that I have to create the job again from scratch. I don’t want to do that! I’d like the job to remain available for future, recurring use instead of me having to recreate it every time! Thanks!

Recurring Jobs Feature

Claire Boudreau
Hello - please add a recurring jobs feature like you have for chores! I want to be able to add the same jobs everyday for payment! Thanks.

This is an important missing feature that I really dislike about the app. I don’t want to keep re-creating jobs, but I need the jobs to be there to happen whenever they happen, as in not on any particular schedule. For instance, if I want my son to shovel the driveway when it snows, there is no regular schedule for that. Sometimes it could be once a month, some times it could be three times in three days. It seems this could be as simple as a toggle or two, and there is a lot of interest in adding this feature!

Custom Chore Cycle

Add flexibility to chore management on Greenlight with a custom recurrence feature. This update would allow parents to set chores to repeat every 3 weeks (or any custom interval), ensuring smoother scheduling for families with unique routines.

I also would really like to see this feature added. One of my biggest frustrations of this app is that there is no way to have additional reoccurring jobs that are separate from Chores, that my children do somewhat regularly but not every week. As a result, if I add the task as a chore, they wouldn't get part of their allowance if they did not do it one week. But, if I add it as a job, I have to add it every time, which becomes quite tedious. I would also like to be able to divide the payment, for a job, into different categories (i.e. Spend Anywhere, Savings, Giving). Unfortunately, it looks like this has been requested for a long time and there is no indication of it being added, so I may be looking for a different tool/app to use.

Recurring Jobs with Different Pay Outs
S.C. Lehman
I want to be able to create one job that:
• Pays out in multiple iterations
• Each iterative payout has an assigned date I select
• Has a quantity to be paid out
• Has an assigned value per quantity
Example
————
Job: Earn $1 for every “A” on a progress report
Value: $1 per quantity
Quantity: 4 (one per subject)
Minimum iterative payout: $0
Maximum iterative payout $4
Total Job maximum payout: $16
($1 x 4 subjects) x 4 progress reports = $16
Today, I do this with 8 total jobs per child (4 for progress reports and 4 for report cards).
That’s 24 jobs in total that I have to recreate every school year.
