The Skylight is a great platform for interfacing with kids through calendars, tasks, rewards and more. Having the ability to integrate that experience with other services or tools by allowing the community to build private or community integrations through the use of public APIs with a hosted MCP server could help make Skylight essential in my household. For example, I’d like to be able to integrate with Greenlight for allowance payments, IoT buttons to indicate a task was completed, build fun smart home automations to auto detect task completion, etc.

The sky is the limit with an API and you’ll attract developers that will build missing features for you.
