Reoccurring “up for grabs” chores

Would like reoccurring chores that can be completed weekly and aren’t tied to individual family members. Would like for any of my kids to be able to “claim” that chore for only a single week, then it’s available for someone else to complete the following week. For example: clean cat box, drag trash to the curb, etc
Would also like the ability for parents to check off the chore if a parent completed it so we can then revisit at the end of the month to see how often people are helpful.

Liz Castro: Thanks for adding your feedback, Liz!
“Up for grabs” chores are chores that you can make available to any child on your account to claim, instead of assigning it to them specifically. It’s a great way to build independence and allow kids to choose the chores they’re ready to tackle!

Thank you for sharing this with us, Victoria.
You can set chores on a recurring schedule or as one-off jobs. You can also tie chores to allowance to help reinforce the relationship between work and money. Assign one-time jobs with expiration dates and unique reward amounts to provide extra motivation for your kids.
