Parent Confirmation for Completed Chores

I recently enabled the allowance feature that is tied to completed chores. However, I was not aware that my children have the ability to mark chores as completed from their version of the app. So when one of my kids marked their chores as completed (before everything was actually done), the auto payment feature triggered and they were paid for chores that weren’t yet finished. I’d love an option to require parent confirmation for completed chores (at least when chores are tied to an allowance payment). This would be super handy for younger children (who might also mark chores as completed for 2 or 3 weeks in the future, which my child did as well. - 🤔🤣). Thank goodness that the in-the-future chores marked as completed didn’t actually trigger those payments ahead of the due date. Thank you.

chores transfer payment amounts need to be requested and approved or denied per cycle, not automatically transferred at end of cycle

Allow parents to approve that tasks and chores are done before payment is applied.

Thank you for sharing this with us, Sarah! The day before your child’s allowance is scheduled to pay out, you’ll get a notification in your Greenlight app prompting you to check if your child’s weekly chores have been completed. If your child has not completed their weekly chores, you then have the choice to pause their allowance.

Kent Burke - my teenagers do this trying to cheese the system but they immediately learned what a back-charge was, and then having to wait until the next payout to get completion payments 🤣 Not sure about how well that would work with a younger child though
Though I do believe the chore UI needs work (I don't see it necessary to show future chores or past completed chores, especially those completed several weeks ago).
