Multi-household functions

My kids switch back and forth between my house and their father’s house. It would be nice to be able to set up more than one allowance and more than one chore list. As it currently is, my ex and I are trying to find a way to make two sets of chores from very different households tie on a percentage of completion pay scale to one allowance amount. Needless to say, it is extremely complicated.

Create a household data model that permits a situation, where multiple children live in multiple households. Child LR lives in two households, household J, and household L. Child LN lives in household J and household T. It would be great if parent J could see both children, but parent, L and T can only see their respective children’s accounts. Further, child Z lives in household L. Parent L should be able to see child LR and child Z’s accounts only.

Yasss!!!! Thank you for suggesting this Sarah. The family dynamic is changing for many modern households. An awesome app like this should include a feature for blended households. It might be as easy as allowing more than only 2 parents for each child and allowing the primary account holder to decide which adults have editing access to each child. In our family we have 4 kids and 2 of them are from previous relationships. We would like to include our kids other parents on the app but its not allowed as of now.
