Widget, push notices
K
Keshia
I see this has already been suggested so I'm just adding- a widget for kids for chores that need to be done and ones they can choose (really nice if they had chores that would be required before they can choose chores) and 1 for parent(s), that shows what needs done still and what has been checked off so we can check it/approve it quickly, with push notices for both- kids notices to remind them of chores, and that there are ones they can choose too. / parents notices when a chore is checked off as completed to be approved, choosen by who, and what needs done still too(I like the suggestion about more of a spreadsheet design) also a choice of which kids to include in the widget. Or being able to have a widget per kid even.
Also, Maybe choosen chores can be shared, and a time limit to complete or it goes back for others to choose.

I would like to expand on this. With the expansion of Digital Family Calendars on the market like Cozyla, Apolosign, etc, I would like the ability to place widgets on the board that allows each child to complete their chores on there instead of needing to use their own personal device. Since I am currently purchasing one of these devices, I would view this as a huge improvement to Greenlight if they added this.

Any movement on this one? I came here to suggest the same thing, plus an Apple Watch app for kids since our kids don’t have phones but do have watches.

Create a Chore check off Widget
Alicia Barden
It would be great to have a Widget that you can have on one of your home screen that kids can check off their chores without having to open the app. As well as sending them for approval from the parent rather than allowing them to just get "check happy" and check off all chores.

This is basically what I came online to request and honestly would be a better solution. I would like to be able to see all chores for the day for all children without having to click through each child. A widget showing all chores for the day with each child's icon and the status (complete/incomplete) would be awesome! My original thought was to just add a "Family" tab in the app under the chore section and show the days chores for all family members in a single list, but I like the idea of a widget for the iOS home screen even better.
