I am not sure why the change from DriveWealth to Alpaca resulted in the removal of automatic dividend reinvestment that was available before with DriveWealth? This is not a heavy lift and the functionality is already there. Every broker has it. It is just a matter of asking Alpaca to turn it on for Greenlight customers or give us an option in the app to do so. This is a big disservice to my child who is learning the power of compounding that results from dividend reinvesting. Please stick to the GreenLight business model of financial education for young minds. As a parent, I am here because I believe in it and I want to continue the journey with you. I don't care about a few extra bucks made from idle cash in the account for Alpaca. But the financial education component is paramount to me and other parents alike. It could drive us away from the investing functionality.
