Hi Annie, we’re delighted to share with you that we are rolling out improvements to the Chores experience. One of the new features we're launching is the ability to select the payment method of your preference. The "Pay per chore" reward type will allow you to assign a dollar amount to each chore.

I would also like to be able to assign a dollar amount or percentage value to different chores. I don’t mind if they all contribute to the overall allowance, but daily chores that take 5 minutes or less shouldn’t have the same value as weekly chores which may take much more effort.

This is a thought I've also had. Some chores are worth more than others. it could even be a ranking system instead of an exact dollar amount, so that it plays into the total chore amount using a percentage.

I made a similar request. This is a missing feature that hurts.

Agree completely with this capability. I thought this was already what the app allowed and was the primary reason I was interested in signing up. I’ll explore the app to see if it will still meet my needs using the jobs function as a workaround, but this capability is really my primary motivator for enrolling.

Thank you for sharing this with us, Annie. Although jobs are not recurring, you can set a specific dollar amount and pay each job upon completion. We are always working to improve our Greenlight experience and will be sure to pass your feedback along to the team.
